IMB (Illawara Mutual Banking) is one of Australia’s largest Building Societies. This Money Magazine awarded Building Society of the year has been committed to helping their members achieve their financial goals for the past 130 years.
The IA of the website was developed with mandatory components in mind (i.e calculators, promotion of products, news articles etc) as well as developing new functionality that rivals the big banks. The creative brief for the project was to design a website that is professional and communicates well the information & the products/services that make IMB.
One of the ideas was to design a site that maximises cross-promotion through main promos/sub-promos featured on the homepage and throughout the internals.
Role: Senior Digital Designer
Another functionality achieved was to maximise the number of ways which the customer can find the needed product. This was done with the left navigation options: What we offer, Solutions For, & Help Me Choose. In essence, the design catered for all the requirements of the client whilst communicating a high level of integrity & security in the design & UX of a financial services site.
